On Friday 08 September we took around forty international students of BSc Electrical Engineering and some Hochschule Mannheim exchange students to Heidelberg as part of the welcome programme for international first semester students.

Our new students enjoyed a boat trip on the river Neckar from Neckargemünd to the historic city center of Heidelberg, including lunch at Heidelberg university and a visit of the romantic Heidelberg castle.

An overall great opportunity to get to know each other, make new friends and to meet other international students of Hochschule Mannheim - University of Applied Sciences.

This winter semester the department of Electrical Engineering is welcoming international students of over eighteen different countries: Singapore, Finland, Mexico, Algeria, Mongolia, Japan, USA, Spain, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia, Thailand, Egypt, Romania, Pakistan, Uzbekistan to name only some.
